Surprisingly Beautiful

To put it simply: this hospital is beautiful. I didn’t expect anything quite so lovely as I made my way off Route 80.

Parking was easy and, with validation, free. From the garage, there’s a covered walkway that feels more like a botanical trail than a hospital corridor. The first lobby I entered had palm trees and reminded me of an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean.

Top-Floor Luxury

The patient’s room was a corner suite on the top floor of the new Helen Theurer Pavilion. It was spacious and well-equipped. A 72-inch flat screen TV, climate control, lighting, music, e-books, shades, and blinds—all operated from a bedside tablet.

There was even a couch overlooking a Manhattan skyline view that converted into a bed. The bathroom had great lighting and generous counter space.

Hospital Dining and Staff Impressions

The cafeteria was a pleasant surprise: lots of options and great food. I really enjoyed the grilled salmon and quinoa salad. One morning, I was mistakenly overcharged at breakfast. I mentioned it the next day, and the cashier removed the charge with no hesitation.

Staff were consistently helpful. I asked a lot of questions and was escorted to my destination twice by kind employees who took the time to guide me personally.

💊 Rating: 5 out of 5 pills

This hospital impressed on all levels: convenience, comfort, food, and staff.

Stay happy and healthy,

Sally
